Godaddy Auction Review

godaddy auction review

I have been a GoDaddy customer for few years and signed up for GoDaddy auction membership as I had few domains which I bought unnecessarily (silly mistake). It is very easy to buy a domain from GoDaddy for one year, isn’t it? Very cheap around $2! Later I found it very difficult o renew them as the cost was high for subsequent years.

So, I needed to find a find a reliable platform where I can sell those domains and get rid of them. I knew that GoDaddy has an auction platform where anyone can list their domains for sale. Then I thought of selling my domains on GoDaddy. And did so.

Here is my experience with GoDaddy auction. As we know GoDaddy is a popular company for domain registration. what about GoDaddy auction? They charge something between 300 to 400 rupees and allows you to list your site in the auction and also you get access to view others listing bid on it. Before going for auction, it is always better to research and grab some top keywords for your domain.

I have listed my domains in flippa too as it is the most popular portal for domain and website buying /selling. Flippa gets many visitors which are real domain buyers and sellers. And flippa helped me selling two websites within the first listing. But the major drawback for Indian user is that they do not support Indian currency. It is difficult o get a credit card or a PayPal account for a student in that case GoDaddy shines.

Godaddy is a global brand so, there is no chance of fraudulent. You can easily set up the listing with the help of customer care.
