How to install WordPress in cPanel?(Last Updated On: June 18, 2019)
WordPress is the most popular CMS available for building websites. I have used other CMS like Joomla, Wix, Magento but, none of them comparable to WordPress. The simplicity and specifications wordpress can provide to a user unbeatable.
Due to its popularity users always prefer WordPress for their blogs, websites, online stores. That is why web hosting companies also nowadays provide a one-click WordPress installation. Literally, all web hosting companies whether big or small. After the WordPress Gutenberg update, creating blogs with wordpress become easier with blocks.

How to install WordPress in Cpanel?
It is very easy to install WordPress in Cpanel. Cpanel is the control panel using which you can create a database, install a new application like Joomla, Weebly, WordPress. Before the installation, ou should have a hosting account. Either you can create a free account in free hosting service or purchase a hosting plan from hosting providers like Hostgator, Bluehost. It is always better to buy a hosting service from a trusted server.
a cpanel generally looks like as below image. Cpanel stands for a control panel. Using this cpanel you do all the tasks like uploading files to your website, adding addon domains, changing the password to your website, etc.
Now the second step is to find the wordpress logo, it will be probably under the software section. After you find the WordPress, it is very easy, you are now just a few clicks away from installing wordpress. The position of the wordpress installation software and name may vary depending on your hosting provider. Scroll down till you can find the word WordPress.
Here, I am using softaculous as this is the software provided by my hosting company. Softaculous is used by many popular hosting companies like Hostgator.
After clicking on the wordpress a popup window may appear where you will have to fill your website name, site tag line, theme selection. You can select or skip them and you can change later on. Just click the WordPress sign and it will show a page like this to configure wordpress settings. Click the link install and it will automatically get installed.

What’s next? After you have installed wordpress, you may want to change the theme, upload a logo, add plugins, add or remove widgets.
You may also want to change the structure of the site. You can do all these from the WordPress dashboard. You do not require to log into cpanel for these.
