Here is the latest policy update from google AdSense to all its publishers. This policy update rolled out in April 2018. Some publishers received it earlier whereas some others received it later on. What are not allowed by Google AdSense?
1.Creating Multiple AdSense accounts for different sites or YouTube channels or for any product where AdSense serves ads. If you do so, your account may get terminated and no payment will be released.
2.Creating an account by someone less than 18 years of age.
3.Accessing google products other than the interface provided by Google.
Will you get paid for the amount you generated in good standing before suspension of account?
Yes, If your Account is in good standing through to the time when Google issues you a payment. AdSense will pay you by the end of the calendar month following any calendar month in which the balance reflected in your Account equals or exceeds the applicable payment threshold.
Is it okay to Partner with Third Parties like Ezoic to increase AdSense Payment?
Do not Partner with any third Party to receive Payment unless Google Authorized that third party. If you want to partner with companies like ezoic, please do confirm whether they are authorized by Google or not.
What are included in Invalid Activity?
1.Spam, invalid clicks, invalid impressions , invalid queries, invalid conversions, or other invalid events on Ads generated by any person, bot, automated program or similar device, including through any clicks or impressions, queries, conversions, or other events originating from your IP addresses or computers under your control.
2.Clicks, impressions, queries, conversions, or other events solicited or generated by payment of money, false representation, or requests for end users to click on Ads or take other actions.
4.Any click, impression, query, conversion, or other event occurring on a Property that does not comply with the AdSense Policies.
5.Any click, impression, query, conversion, or other event occurring on a Property associated with another AdSense Account you use.
What will happen if your AdSense account remains inactive for a consecutive 6 months?
Google can terminate your participation in the Services, and close your Account, if your Account remains inactive for a period of 6 or more consecutive months. If Google closes your Account due to inactivity, and the balance reflected in your Account equals or exceeds the applicable threshold, google will pay you that balance.
Can you apply again after termination of your account due to inactivity?
If Google closes your Account due to inactivity, you will not be prevented from submitting a new application to use the Services.
What happens if you violet AdSense Terms and Conditions?
If you breach the AdSense Terms or Google suspends or terminates your Account, you (i) are prohibited from creating a new Account, and (ii) may not be permitted to monetize content on other Google products.
If Google terminates your account mistakenly, what to do?
if Google terminates your Account and you dispute your termination, you must notify Google within 30 days of any such payment, non-payment, or termination by submitting an appeal . If you do not, any claim related to the disputed payment or your termination is waived.
What happens to your $50 after your requested termination of your account?
Any balance reflected in your Account below the applicable threshold will remain unpaid.
Do you need to pay tax for the amount you earned from AdSense?
Yes, You need to pay tax for the amount you earned from Google. Google do not pay taxes for you.
Can you use “AdSense logo” to show as “Google Partner” in your blog?
Yes, Google grant you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to use Google’s trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features (“Brand Features”) solely in connection with your use of the Services and in accordance with the AdSense Terms. Google may revoke this license at any time. Any goodwill arising from your use of Google’s Brand Features will belong to Google.
Is Cookie Consent is necessary?
You will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that an end user gives consent to the storing and accessing of cookies, device-specific information, location information or other information on the end user’s device in connection with the Services where such consent is required by law.
Is it okay to show AdSense CTR publicly?
No, You can not show AdSense CTR publicly. However, you may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments resulting from your use of the Services.
Will every page of your website will be served with ads?
Nope, Google doesn’t promises to serve every pages of your website with ads.
Can you trust AdSense as your only earning source?
Nope, You can not trust only on AdSense as an earning source. Even as a blogger, I will suggest you the same.
What will happen if in your country Google is banned by government?
Neither party will be liable for inadequate performance to the extent caused by a condition (for example, natural disaster, act of war or terrorism, riot, labor condition, governmental action, and Internet disturbance) that was beyond the party’s reasonable control.
